This may be the largest collection of reviews about nature-focused media on the entire Internet. Subject matter runs the gamut, including human/animal relations, biology texts, mystical speculation, environmental rants, novels, magazines, TV shows, Disney cartoons. Some items won't be found anywhere else.
  • The items reviewed are not in alphabetical order. Hopefully, this encourages casual browsing.
  • All the reviews first appeared in the Interspecies Newsletter between 1985 and this year.
  • The format offers a short summary, followed by quotes taken from the book.
  • The reviews emphasize books and media that attempt to guide our own species toward ecological and cultural balance.
  • The reviews are spread across four different pages to limit your load time. You can also do a search on a keyword.
  • We are opinionated about the merits of these books. And we do appreciate any author offering creative solutions to the problems of the day.
