Audio Sample Page

Our server mandates that these samples be offered in mp3 format. You can listen to the sounds as is, but you can't use them in a music program without first converting to .aif or.wav.

This page offers a small selection of the literally hundreds of underwater audio samples we have distributed on CD for our Belly of the Whale Project. The dolphins, orcas, and belugas are © interspecies. The spiny lobsters were recorded by Sheila Patek and the Weddell seals by the Australian Antarctic Agency. The samples are set to play as loops.
