TITLE: The Zoo at Night

DESCRIPTION: I sketched the pacing, nervous elephant at the Seattle Zoo, imagining her swaying all night long under the stars. After i made the aesthetic decision to eliminate the cage walls from the final proof, suddenly the stars above and the ground below emerged as gorgeous barriers that kept both of us together, bound to the Earth's surface.
