TITLE: The Drinking Rhinos

DESCRIPTION: Originally sketched at the Fossil Rim Animal Preserve in Glen Rose Texas, I was especially struck by how closely the rhino's skin matches the rocky landscape it was inhabiting. The rhino was an old female, and possessed of a countenance Ñan ambience, a sensibility, a groundingÑfar older than any living being in my experience.
